metroSTOR product systems provide waste and recycling infrastructure for city authorities, developers, corporate campuses, and universities. Our smart bins and enclosures make it easier for everyone to increase waste diversion for reuse, recycling or compost.

Our installers fit and service metroSTOR products across the USA and we are building a new team based in Windsor CT working primarily in the northeast but with travel to other locations as required. Overnight travel (expenses paid for) is required as this role will cover multiple sections of the country.

Day to day work is varied and includes delivery, installation, repair and associated warehouse tasks. The Delivery Driver Helper role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on larger projects, helping ensure that all installations are completed efficiently and to company standards.

Duties

  • Assist in the loading and delivery of products to customers using non-CDL trucks
  • Assist in the installation of product systems on site
  • Assist in the offloading of shipments for warehouse storage
  • Assist in the loading of products for delivery.
  • Packaging of replacement parts for shipment to site.
  • Maintaining work areas clean and work equipment in order.

About You

  • Previous experience in delivery driving, warehousing or construction useful
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including potential extended hours as needed.
  • A strong work ethic, reliable and a positive outlook essential
  • Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Job assignments will regularly require extended hours and some overnight travel. All travel time to job sites is paid, and overnight expenses paid.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving history are required.
