We invite you to join Apple's Wireless/RF Systems Engineering Program Management team. Our team is looking for a forward-thinking, dedicated, and enthusiastic Engineering Program Manager to contribute to and drive Apple's Wireless test infrastructure. Our team partners with engineers who design and manufacture precision RF test equipment utilized in calibrating and testing the dynamic and rapidly evolving Wireless Hardware technologies across Apple's product portfolio. We are seeking an innovative Engineering Program Manager who possesses strategic thinking capabilities and can effectively drive projects from concepts to reality.
Description
Wireless/RF System EPMs are self-motivated, curious, fast learners, and excellent communicators who are eager to collaborate with multiple highly skilled individuals within Apple as well as external suppliers. Wireless/RF System EPMs play a critical role in the development of RF test solutions for Apple products, from ideation, through technology selection, on to planning, driving execution & deployment, budget management, and continuous process improvement. They guide teams to solve the most challenging technical and logistical problems during these various phases, all while remaining flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of: RF/Wireless system Architecture/Design/Development, RF Test, RF application engineering
- Track record of development and integration of wireless technologies into products or the development/deployment of test solutions for the Wireless market
- Demonstrated experience in technical project management
- Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, presentation, problem solving and communication skills
- Self driven, curious, eager to learn and be part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, MBA or equivalent preferred
- Working knowledge of hardware manufacturing processes for complex low-mix products and/or high volume consumer products
- Experience working with manufacturing organization and contract manufacturers on building precision and high performance products
- Experience working with wireless standards & RF test equipment
- Experience with leading software development teams in a fast-paced agile environment
- Passion for leading continuous improvement, innovations, execution excellence and quality
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
