Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of fixtures, components, and systems across commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. The Installer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
  • Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, windows, glass, and other building components with precision.
  • Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to perform tasks including concrete forming, masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and more.
  • Perform construction site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct restoration work including plastering, stucco application, caulking, and painting as needed.
  • Fabricate custom components using carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and drywall installation.
  • Manage construction estimating tasks related to materials and labor for installation projects.
  • Assist in remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and preparing surfaces for new installations.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction site work with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation.
  • Knowledge of various trades including plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and concrete finishing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on-site.
  • Relevant certifications or training in construction management or specific trades (preferred).
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces as required. This position offers an opportunity for growth within a dynamic construction environment for individuals committed to craftsmanship and quality work.
