Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time Director of Finance role located in Chicago, IL. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The individual will analyze financial data, develop strategies to optimize financial performance, and collaborate with the leadership team to make informed business decisions. Additionally, the role will involve managing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance principles
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; CPA or CFA certification preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the cannabis or consumer products industry is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
