The Grand Resort & Spa — South Florida's largest gay resort — is now hiring experienced and customer-focused Servers / Baristas for our Food & Beverage department in Fort Lauderdale.

Position Overview

As a Server / Barista, you'll prepare and serve beverages, take guest orders, deliver food and drinks, and ensure guests receive an outstanding level of service. You'll be a key part of our resort café and lounge team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage, and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages
• Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and POS transactions (Toast experience preferred)
• Maintain clean and organized service and café areas
• Restock food, coffee, and beverage supplies as needed
• Follow health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a barista, server, café attendant, or restaurant staff
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with coffee preparation, espresso machines, and POS systems
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move actively during shifts
• Flexible availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: Thursday–Sunday, 11:30 AM–6:30 PM (or later for events)
• Pay: $11–$14/hour + tips (based on experience)
• Pay Frequency: Biweekly on Fridays
• Type: On-site position in Fort Lauderdale
