Greenbelt PT & Sports Medicine has been serving the DMV community for over 20 years, specializing in orthopedic physical therapy. We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to become a valued member of our support team. This position is available either full-time or part-time.

Job Duties:

  • Warmly welcome patients as they arrive and assist with the check-in process
  • Schedule patient appointments, including follow-up visits
  • Answer incoming calls and emails, address patient inquiries
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
  • Collect co-payments
  • Submit authorization requests to insurance companies, if necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area, ensuring a professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a front desk receptionist in a healthcare setting, preferably in physical therapy, chiropractic, or orthopedic practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes and handling co-payments/deductibles.
