Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, supporting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and engaging with students. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning atmosphere and ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive academically and socially.

Duties

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing daily lesson plans that align with curriculum goals.
  • Support classroom management by helping maintain a structured and organized learning environment.
  • Engage with students during activities, providing guidance and encouragement to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs.
  • Facilitate small group activities, focusing on subjects such as Math and other core areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources for lessons.
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative educational experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Creative Curriclum methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
  • Ability to educate children effectively, demonstrating patience and understanding of diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for nurturing children's growth in both academic and social aspects.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among students.
