This Position reports to:

Production Supervisor

Job Description:

  • Production & Machine Operation: Operate machinery to assemble shafts and rotors, follow manufacturing instructions and blueprints, and ensure quality and defect-free production while meeting output goals.
  • Technical Skills & Tools: Use measuring tools (tape measure, scale), perform basic calculations, identify and use appropriate shove tools, supplies, and materials, and operate equipment like air manipulators and hoists.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate with team members, communicate issues with supervisors, support cross-training, and assist in other departmental functions as needed.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Prioritize workplace safety, follow guidelines, report issues, maintain daily cleanliness, and be available for overtime and additional duties.

Education and Experience Needed:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
