VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Sales Representative for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM. This is a full-time Direct Hire. Pay for this position is $55,000-$85,000 DOE.
As a Sales Representative, you will:
  • Provide sales and marketing departments with territory service needs and sales leads information.
  • Provide customers with on-site technical support and training for prime product installations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of technical publications libraries.
  • Travel throughout all territories to call on and sell all prime product parts, service, and related products.
  • Responsible for assisting in executing sales plans to include cold calling, and site visits.
  • Work as the liaison between MEGA functional departments and customers for service repairs, modifications, parts returns, and warranty issues.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Works with accounting department on required paperwork.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions, trip reports, and monitors expense accounts.

Sales Representative candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination fo education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working on heavy mobile equipment in the construction and/or mining industry. This includes working on system hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and control systems.
  • Valid New Mexico Class D or higher driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write and edit reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Have good public contact and interpersonal skills and conduct oneself in a manner that is professional and business-like at all times.
