Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a food service environment. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and supporting food preparation and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food industry settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities seamlessly. This position offers an opportunity to grow while delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Clover POS system
  • Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision and attention to detail
  • Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
  • Manage food handling responsibilities following proper safety protocols
  • Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
  • Ensure timely service by managing order flow efficiently during busy periods
  • Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or café environment preferred but not a requirement
  • Familiarity with Clover POS system is advantageous
  • Experience in cashiering, customer service, or retail math is beneficial
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is desirable
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales upselling techniques are essential
  • Prior experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving food handling is a plus

This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety.
