We are looking for a delivery driver to add to our Jackson Wyoming team This individual will work closely with our sales staff and warehouse to ensure we are providing solutions to our customers' everyday needs. Our Delivery Drivers pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client. There is a good culture at Standard. You will have the opportunity to see many of the same customers every day, week, and month. We will train the right person if you have high integrity, strong work ethic, and are willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
Be accurate in pulling orders and providing correct lead-times on ordered product.
Receive product into the store and Restock product on the shelf.
Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Accepting payments for delivered items.
Perform frequent safety checks and services on vehicles.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to move objects 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift/move objects over 100 lbs.
Detail orientation in cleanliness and order pulling accuracy.
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record.
Be able to obtain a DOT Medical card.
Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
Able to pass a drug test
.
