Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively setting where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Assist with food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables when necessary
  • Use OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate with the host/host team for seating arrangements
  • Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and basic cash handling skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
  • Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and transaction accuracy
  • Experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or guest services is advantageous
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or food industry experience preferred
