Dog Bather

Bellevue Pet Spa is looking for a new Bather.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the bathing area in the mornings
• Bathing and drying client dogs
• Keeping track of dog behavior and physical conditions of the dogs
• Routine cleaning to keep a sanitary workplace

Ideal Bather

• At least 1 year of Dog Bathing and or handling of dogs preferred. Will train a reliable person
• Baseline knowledge of dogs; different fur and coat types
• Ability to stand for several hours, and comfortable lifting up 45lbs when needed
• Ability to stay calm and comfortable in a loud, fast- paced work environment
• Works well as part of a Team and can communicate effectively with others
• Dependable, Reliable, and Punctual
• Additional duties may include helping the Dog Groomers and/or occasionally the front desk receptionist

Hours

• Tuesday 8:05am-4:00pm, Wednesday-Friday 7:45am-3:00pm Saturday, 8:45am-4:00pm (Saturday is mandatory)
• This is a 30-35 hour per week direct hire role. (Not seasonal)

Pay

• $ $21.00 per hour (DOE) plus tips
