About the Opportunity

A leading Colorado heavy-civil contractor is urgently hiring an experienced
Project Manager with CDOT bridge experience
. This team delivers large-scale structural concrete and bridge projects across the state and is known for safety, quality, and long-term client relationships.

You'll manage complex CDOT-funded bridge projects from pre-con to closeout, working closely with superintendents, field engineers, and CDOT resident engineers. This is a high-impact role with strong growth potential and immediate hiring priority.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead full lifecycle project management for bridge and structural concrete projects.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Manage field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and accountability.
  • Handle CDOT documentation, pay applications, specifications, and compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with CDOT inspectors, REs, and design partners.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
  • Identify risks, change orders, and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Support estimating and project bidding efforts as needed.

What They're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of experience managing CDOT or heavy-civil bridge projects.
  • Deep knowledge of CDOT standards, pay items, specifications, and reporting.
  • Ability to oversee projects up to ~$30M.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage diverse field teams.
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with project management systems (HCSS HeavyJob, Procore, etc.).
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to high-quality delivery.
