About Us:

Kintoki is a brand-new Japanese sushi restaurant bringing a fresh, modern dining experience to Tucson. Our concept blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with creative flavors and high-quality ingredients, all served in a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. We're building our opening team and are looking for passionate, reliable, and energetic servers who want to grow with us from day one.

Position Overview:

As one of Kintoki's opening servers, you'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience and setting the tone for exceptional service. You'll work closely with our sushi chefs and management team to provide attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service to every guest.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent, attentive service throughout their meal
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
  • Work closely with the kitchen and sushi bar to ensure smooth service flow
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and specials (training provided)
  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain a positive dining experience
  • Handle payments and transactions accurately
  • Keep tables and work areas clean, organized, and ready for service
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience preferred (sushi or Japanese dining experience a plus)
  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow with a new restaurant

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Competitive hourly pay + tips
