Houseman

Job Summary

The Houseman is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of all public areas of the hotel, including the pool deck, lobby, meeting rooms, parking lot, fitness center, and back-of-house spaces. This role supports both the Housekeeping and Front Desk teams to ensure that all guest-facing and operational areas meet brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in public and back-of-house areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, fitness center, pool, offices, and restrooms.
• Collect and remove trash from all public areas, housekeeping carts, and exterior bins.
• Restock supplies in Housekeeping closets and Laundry room.
• Strip linens and remove trash from vacant rooms as assigned.
• Restock pool and fitness towels as needed.
• Clean guest laundry area and maintain equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, & holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
