Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The Housekeeping Manager will coordinate daily operations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of cleanliness across all areas.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Oversee floor care activities, including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard floors
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure quality standards are met
  • Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues or guest requests promptly
  • Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, staff schedules, and supply inventories

Experience

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar settings
  • Strong background in cleaning techniques, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial practices
  • Previous experience with hotel housekeeping operations or janitorial services preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence is highly desirable
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
  • Familiarity with safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
