Rochester Volkswagen is growing and looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Parts Assistant to join our team. This position supports the Parts Department by helping with inventory, stocking, receiving, parts lookup, and working with service technicians and retail customers. Automotive experience is helpful, but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily parts department operations
  • Receive, tag, stock, and pull parts accurately
  • Help technicians and advisors with timely parts requests
  • Answer phone calls and assist retail customers at the counter
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts area
  • Check in special orders and notify customers
  • Assist with inventory counts and returns
  • Occasional delivery of parts to local shops or customers

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using computer systems and parts lookup
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move parts/boxes
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Prior automotive or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (currently closed on Saturday's)
