Description:

Department, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Developer for an Information Technology Analyst III position.

This position plays a critical role in both modernizing our technology stack and ensuring the continued operation of essential legacy systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using C#, ASP.NET Web API, and Angular, while also supporting and enhancing existing legacy applications built with WebForms, WinForms, and Classic ASP. Our long-term goal is to convert all legacy applications to modern architectures using Web API and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, Web API, and Angular


• Support and maintain legacy systems developed in WebForms, WinForms, and Classic ASP


• Provide ongoing support for application issues, resolve bugs, and enhance system functionality


• Conduct code reviews for Information Technology Analyst (ITA) Level I and II developers


• Perform full stack development across front-end and back-end technologies


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers


• Manage application deployments and coordinate release activities


• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and system configurations


• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development


• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Web API development


• Strong experience with Angular (v19+ preferred), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3


• Strong SQL Server experience with T-SQL, table, views, stored procedures and relational databases


• Experience with RESTful services and API integration


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems

Desired Qualifications


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices


• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure


• Experience maintaining legacy applications in WebForms, WinForms, and Classic ASP


• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions
