This position is to assist the Senior Network Administrator with a full scope of Network (both local and wide-area), Server configuration, administration and support in an environment of Windows and Linux operating systems, VMWare and Storage Area Network Appliances, supporting a Cisco based network.

  • BS in MIS/IS, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • CCNA, CCNP, MCSE or MCSA certification preferred
  • 3+ years of Cisco LAN/WAN support and wireless infrastructure experience preferred
  • Network Security, VPN & Firewall experience preferred
  • Active Directory experience preferred
  • 5 years' experience with the design, installation, management and support of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, VMWare, SQL and Linux
  • Knowledge of SAN technologies
  • Prior experience with VEEAM preferred
  • Extensive working experience with voice development and implementation (VOIP), video conferencing and telehealth protocols
  • Prior knowledge of Radiology/Cardiology hardware/applications preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and independent judgment essential
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and communicates effectively with management on project assignments
  • Demonstrates leadership skills in coordination of department work flow
