New York, New York, United States A Full time $115,000 - $140,000 per year

Role Overview
We're hiring a Chief of Staff to partner directly with A.Team's leadership to drive company-wide initiatives across operations, growth, and product. This role is both strategic and executional—you'll help define A.Team's long-term direction while ensuring today's priorities get done with precision and speed.

You'll sit at the center of the company's most critical decisions, managing relationships with clients, investors, and the builder community, while ensuring the organization scales without losing momentum. Beyond strategic leadership, you'll provide high-level executive support—managing complex schedules, coordinating key meetings, and ensuring leadership can focus on highest-impact work. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments and executes relentlessly across both strategic and operational demands in A.Team's unique mission-driven ecosystem.

Anticipated salary band: $115,000 USD - $140,000 USD, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Work directly with A.Team leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute key initiatives across the company
  • Lead cross-functional projects requiring coordination between builder success, client services, platform engineering, and go-to-market teams
  • Support executive decision-making through structured analysis, data-driven insights, and strong operational rigor
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable systems and processes that support A.Team's builder-first marketplace model
  • Represent leadership in high-stakes meetings with clients, builders, investors, and strategic partners
  • Conduct research on competitors, potential clients, partners, and market opportunities

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Manage complex, ever-changing calendars with sharp judgment and proactive problem-solving across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries
  • Handle expense reporting and manage travel logistics with precision
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, board decks, investor updates, client presentations, and strategic documents
  • Draft emails and correspondence on behalf of leadership
  • Triage and manage executive communications, ensuring critical issues are surfaced and addressed promptly
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, builders, investors, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate board meetings, investor touchpoints, and strategic partner engagements—including pre-reads, presentations, and follow-through

Personal Support

  • Household management and coordination of domestic services
  • Personal travel planning and itinerary management for family trips
  • Event planning and execution for personal occasions and family gatherings
  • Personal shopping, gift selection, and holiday coordination
  • Packing assistance and travel preparation
  • Managing personal appointments, reservations, and lifestyle logistics
  • Coordinating with personal vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Handling personal correspondence and family-related administrative tasks

Special Projects & Event Management

  • Plan and execute company offsites and major events (managing significant budgets and coordinating logistics for distributed teams)
  • Organize and facilitate leadership offsites, all-hands meetings, and key company gatherings
  • Coordinate professional and personal events, including team celebrations and special occasions
  • Lead employee onboarding processes and coordinate exceptional new hire experiences
  • Identify and coordinate leadership speaking opportunities and event appearances
  • Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and facility coordination as needed
  • Execute strategic initiatives and special projects as they arise

About You
Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant, operations, or similar strategic support roles at fast-paced technology companies, with proven ability to handle both strategic and executional responsibilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail that borders on obsessive
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication—you can adjust seamlessly whether preparing a board memo or coordinating with contractors
  • Proven ability to execute complex, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines while juggling multiple priorities
  • Problem-solving mindset: you see obstacles as puzzles to solve, not roadblocks
  • High discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information related to clients, builders, investors, and strategic partnerships
  • Experience with budget management and vendor coordination
  • Global perspective: comfortable coordinating across time zones and cultural contexts
  • Tech-savvy with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, project management platforms)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action—comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists
  • Comfortable providing both professional and personal support to enable leadership effectiveness

Bonus Points

  • Former founder or early employee at a venture-backed tech company or marketplace platform
  • Event planning background (especially large-scale corporate events)
  • Operations or project management experience in high-growth startups
  • Personal assistant or household management experience
  • Experience in product development, marketplace dynamics, or two-sided platforms
  • Background in professional services, consulting, or managing complex client relationships
