JOB SUMMARY:

To sell and merchandise all products sold by Northeast Beverage in chain, independent grocery and Mass Merchandise accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with chain account personnel to include Grocery mgr, receiver etc

  • Communicate pricing information, ad activity, and display opportunities to assigned accounts.

  • Introduce new product lines and extensions of existing brands

  • Continually seek additional shelf space, coolers, displays

  • Secure and sell in product orders weekly to fill authorized shelf space and sell displays to support programmed Advertising activity

  • Fully Stock and pack out all locations in the store to include: shelves, coolers, displays

  • Follow call, service, and delivery schedule

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Must meet selling quotas and merchandising objectives Responsible for completing and turning in all required paperwork.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Previous merchandising and/or selling experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

N/A

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR Operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the ability to remain stationary for an extended period of time, ability to move about and position self to be able to create displays, ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive motions.

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
