Barista Cashier

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier to join our café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and handling transactions accurately. Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items in accordance with quality standards.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management skills during busy periods.
• Restock supplies and ensure the café is organized and inviting at all times.

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred.
• Basic math skills for retail math, café sales, and cash handling accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and food service procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
