Patient Care Assistant Job Description

Under the supervision of the Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA), the PCA will observe and monitor client behavior and emotional status of those who seek refuge at Maryhaven's Engagement Center, Homeless Services. The PCA will assist clinical staff with documentation of charts, phone contracts, and other means in which to better aid the client. Will implement programmatic activities or events. The PCA will schedule meetings and provide safe transportation for clients. This position is included in a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.
