As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer in a bustling retail environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the location. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate designated areas and remain visible, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or local authorities as required.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries, contributing to a welcoming environment.
• Follow post orders and instructions specific to the retail environment, adapting to varying working conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience in customer service-related roles is preferred.
• Experience using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
