Our Defense team in Salt Lake City, UT is eagerly looking for a Senior Material Handler to join their dynamic team. You will join the Supply Chain team, reporting directly to our Materials Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment on 1st shift (9/80 schedule, M-Th 7am – 4pm and every other F from 7am – 3pm).

As a Sr. Material Handler, you will make a critical impact by holding responsibility for the following:

• Support the storage and movement raw materials, supplies, parts/components and finished goods within the facility

• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse related activities

• Execute inventory control processes to include cycle counts, variance reconciliation and ensuring optimal inventory levels

• Process and submit material related workflows, documentation and records management

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process

To be considered for a Sr. Material Handler role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• HS diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

• Technical skills to include knowledge/use of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel) and Data Entry

• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus but not a requirement

• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
