Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Income Senior Tax Analyst to be responsible for the accurate accounting, reporting, and administration of equity and membership management, as well as the timely preparation, filing, and payment of sales and use, income, excise, and other required tax returns. This role supports key operational, financial, and regulatory processes, including equity reconciliations, member onboarding fee accounting, terminations, patronage and share balance calculations, and unclaimed property administration. The Senior Tax Analyst ensures strong data governance, maintains compliance with applicable tax regulations, and provides high-level analytical support to internal stakeholders..

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliation processes, and financial statement concepts.
  • Intermediate knowledge of income, sales, excise, and use tax regulations required.
  • Experience working with ERP or mainframe accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended hours during peak reporting periods.
