Position Summary
The role involves designing, developing, and delivering high-quality digital solutions by leveraging advanced programming skills and modern frameworks. The position requires hands-on coding, building scalable and maintainable software components, and integrating complex systems. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to make architectural decisions, ensure performance optimization, and maintain code quality through testing, debugging, and reviews. Active participation in Agile methodologies, continuous improvement, and innovation is essential, along with maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and fostering knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities according to product requirements
  • Collaborate across a cross-functional development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, propose design patterns, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions
  • Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency
  • Integrate various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution
  • Write and execute comprehensive test cases, conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions
  • Participate in SAFe agile or other development methodologies, attend meetings, contribute to project planning, and help drive the progress and success of digital projects
  • Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ year's experience in creating React JS/Angular UI Applications
  • 5+ year's experience in developing Java applications in Spring boot, Spring MVC
  • 5+ years' experience in building APIs and services using REST
  • 5+ year's experience in software development enterprise/web/cloud applications
  • 5+ year's of working knowledge with functional, imperative, and object-oriented languages and methodologies
  • 5+ year's experience in automation technologies (e.g., Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, etc.)
  • 3+ year's experience building, testing, and deploying code to run on cloud infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies

Education
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is
$92, $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
