Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and culturally sensitive individual, group, and family therapy sessions, customizing treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans that effectively address clients' mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team at CDCC to provide holistic care and strong support for clients.
  • Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, to enhance client care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality in all professional interactions.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work atmosphere that supports the well-being of both clients and colleagues, making a meaningful impact in our community.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a fully licensed therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent). Must be fully licensed.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with diverse populations and a strong commitment to cultural competency.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, or others.
  • Exceptional active listening, communication, and rapport-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Supervision certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Current and valid professional license to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
