Lead Cabling Technician / Project Foreman

Hooksett, NH office

Seeking skilled lead technician, with 5+ years, that is competent with construction and service projects, as well as being comfortable working with customers in office, school, and hospital environments.

This position requires a self-starter who can work efficiently, with very little supervision, be on-time, and be able to lead projects. You will be responsible for helping train new hires in the field as well.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Installation, termination and testing of Cat6, Cat6A, coax, fiber etc. voice and data cabling.

-Backbone feeder, copper, and fiber cabling.

-Building MDF and IDF closets, from rack installations to cable tray systems.

-Completing as-built drawings and other required project documentation, upon completion of each project.

-Being familiar with AV systems, phone systems, basic networks, CCTV, burglar, and card access systems, is a plus.

Desired Candidate should have the following skills:

-Must have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and scopes of work.

-High capability for problem solving and efficient solutions.

-Comfortable climbing various sized ladders including extension ladders, on occasion.

-Scissor lift certification is a plus, but we can provide the training for this.

-Own your own, and be familiar with basic cabling and construction, and troubleshooting hand tools.

-Being knowledgeable, familiar with, and following the NEC and BICSI standards, are a must.

-Starting pay $25+ per hour, based on experience and skills.

-Company vehicle will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour
