Business Analyst/Tester

Zachary Piper is seeking a cleared Business Analyst/Tester to support the Enterprise Technology Modernization Support Services project for a federal client. This hybrid full-time role combines operations support with forward-looking modernization efforts, including automation, AI/ML integration, and enterprise platform enhancements. The ideal candidate will bridge technical and business needs to ensure alignment with mission goals and governance standards.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
- Support two core business functions serving mission and support teams
- Manage ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities
- Recommend and implement system improvements
- Automate workflows within ServiceNow
- Apply AI/ML technologies, including CBP Chat powered by ChatGPT
- Gather and document requirements through user stories and workshops
- Assist with estimation, prioritization, and release planning
- Support testing activities and help desk operations during surge periods
- Maintain process flows, SOPs, and dashboards
- Ensure Section 508 and FedRAMP compliance
- Contribute to reports and stakeholder briefings
Qualifications of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
Required:
- Active DHS Public Trust (CBP preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of specialized experience
- Strong knowledge of Agile, requirements management, and IT governance
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with TRM, enterprise architecture, and compliance standards
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows and Business Connection portal
- Background in AI, automation, and cloud services in government settings
- Understanding of Section 508 and FedRAMP requirements
Compensation of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
- Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience and certifications
- Benefits: Full-time comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development support
