Licensed Mental Health Counselor

WR is seeking LPC, LMFT, LCSW clinicians with an interest and training in working with couples. These clinicians would primarily provide couples counseling. Additional opportunities available, if interested, in writing online content, or help manage social media.

There will be room to add individual clients to the caseload based on clinical interests. This opening is intended to begin on a part-time basis and grow into a full-time position. At full-time capacity, clinicians would be working about 20 total clinical hours per week. Additional hours will include monthly team meetings, administrative time, case consultation, and any other work necessary to complete the job.

Ideal applicant:

• Must be licensed (fully or as an associate) in Texas.
• Currently trained to offer therapeutic services to couples.
• Must have trauma specific training or willing to obtain.
• Must be able to offer a minimum of 6 client openings after 3:00 pm each week and minimum of 4 openings on 2 weekends each month.
• Enjoy teamwork and connecting with others - WR staff, PCC providers, as well as with the clients.
• Exhibit high work standards by submitting quality work within guidelines set.
• Have excellent communication skills in writing, in person, online, and on telephone.
• Be a self-starter and can take initiative.
• Capable of prioritizing daily tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Capable and willing to follow policies and procedures of Wind Rose.
• Willing to promote and market self.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessment.
• Independent treatment planning
• Assist couples in developing interaction skills to cope with relationship stress and challenges, including infidelity.
• Empower couples in utilizing strengths and weaknesses.
• Help couples in creating effective patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
• Providing education and problem resolution
• Provide effective treatment.
• Assist in promoting and marketing self

Qualifications

• Master's degree
• LPC, LMFT, LCSW license in Texas
• NPI
• Training in couples and relationships.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
