AR/Credit Analyst

AR/Credit Analyst needed in Tampa FL

As an AR/Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of both prospective and existing customers by gathering data from credit bureaus and other sources. In addition, you will compile and analyze credit information to create detailed reports that support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Gather credit data on prospective and existing customers from credit bureaus and other reliable sources.
• Research and evaluate the credit history and financial standing of businesses applying for credit.
• Compile and analyze credit information to prepare detailed reports for informed decision-making.
• Support analysts by obtaining documentation for new credit applications and assisting with account setup.
• Provide assistance with collections activities when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of all credit-related information.
• Maintain up-to-date and organized records to preserve account integrity.
• Perform audit confirmations and verifications for internal, external, and customer requests.
• Apply efficient and effective work methods to optimize credit operations.
• Adhere to company policies and implement established programs.
• Conduct credit reviews for new account openings and periodic assessments of existing accounts.
• Assist in establishing new accounts, including data entry, creating credit files, and coordinating with the sales team.
• Execute thorough credit reviews and updates to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth and coordinated credit processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Credit Manager or Credit Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in AR, credit and collections, credit analysis, and credit risk.
• Proficiency in credit review and understanding credit worthiness.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookups.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university preferred.
• If no Bachelor's Degree, then 2-4+ years of AR Analyst or Credit Analysis experience required.
• SAP experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $31.25/hr.
