Job Description:

MDI Security is hiring Fire & Security Technicians to join our Houston team.

We're looking for professionals experienced in Bosch, Potter, FireLite, Access Control, and CCTV IP systems.

Our projects include service, installation, and commissioning of fire alarm and security systems across Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and program fire and security systems.
  • Perform NFPA 72 inspections and complete reports using our mobile tools.
  • Work with Bosch, Potter, and FireLite panels, Access Control, and CCTV IP.
  • Maintain neat wiring, labeling, and code-compliant installations.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Bosch, Potter, or FireLite systems.
  • Experience with Access Control and CCTV IP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the fire & security field (standard employment requirements).
  • Basic ability to understand simple instructions in English.
  • Availability to travel within Texas for service calls.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $35/hour (W-2) + overtime per law.
  • Gas card and oil changes covered during the first 90 days (using your vehicle).
  • Hotel and fuel covered for out-of-town jobs.
  • Company vehicle may be assigned after 90 days based on performance.

Schedule:

Full-time – 40 hours per week

(Some travel and overtime may be required.)
