This role oversees all finance and accounting operations, leads a talented team, and provides strategic financial leadership to support Tech Defenders' continued growth. We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is excited to build and develop a high-performing finance team.What You'll DoFinancial Operations & ReportingLead all accounting and finance processes with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP.Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable, expense cycle, and revenue recognition.Prepare and present timely monthly and quarterly reports to leadership and ownership.Manage bank, CPA, and insurance relationships.Provide oversight for inventory costing, fixed asset management, and general ledger activities.Hold department leaders accountable to budgets and support informed financial decision-making.Risk Management & ComplianceMaintain appropriate insurance coverage and manage financial risk exposure.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee audits and regulatory reporting.Strategic LeadershipCollaborate with the executive team to set business objectives and align financial strategies.Drive the annual budgeting process and deliver financial insights to support growth.Lead sales and operations planning, including monthly forecasting against budget.Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls.Identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce waste.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting team.Recruit, train, and provide ongoing coaching to build a collaborative, high-performing culture. Foster professional growth through clear goals, accountability, and development plans.Technology & SystemsLeverage tools like NetSuite ERP, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Concur to optimize finance operations.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.7+ years of progressive finance experience, with management required and executive leadership preferred.Proven success managing accounting operations in a growth-oriented environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, risk management, and financial legislation.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.What We Offer401(k) with company match.Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.Paid holidays, PTO, and paid volunteer time.Tuition assistance after one year of service.Discounted tech devices for family and friends.Casual dress code, TD swag, and fun company events.Growth opportunities and ongoing professional development support.Work EnvironmentOffice-based environment.Minimal travel required (
