Hydraulic Assembly Supervisor – $28.00/hr
A Kootenai County-based company is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Assembly Supervisor to lead a team in assembling and installing components and subassemblies onto heavy equipment. Work includes drilling, tapping, machining, wiring, low-voltage electrical, hydraulic plumbing (hard line and hose), and testing equipment to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee assembly and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with schematics, blueprints, and work authorizations
  • Monitor quality, safety, and production pace; address issues promptly
  • Train and guide team members; coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and quality control
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper allocation of labor and materials
  • Communicate progress and deadlines to leadership; resolve problems efficiently

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy machinery/equipment assembly
  • Skilled in hydraulics, hoses, fittings, welding, and reading schematics
  • Ability to perform technical tasks (wiring, plumbing, mechanical installation, operational testing)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of assembly methods, tools, and techniques
