We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team.

Position Overview

The AR/AP Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming and outgoing financial transactions. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all aspects of billing, collections, vendor payments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

· Process and record accounts receivable and payable transactions.

· Manage customer invoicing, payment applications, and follow up on overdue accounts.

· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.

· Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Prepare reports on cash flow, aging, and outstanding balances.

· Support the Controller with audits and budget preparation.

· Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable/payable or general accounting.

· Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.

· Familiarity with project-based accounting.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
