We at Norridge Gardens are seeking to hire an experienced Restorative Aide to join our team.

Our mission is to foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration, and continue to grow our reputation for being the preferred source for skilled nursing/long term care within the communities we serve.

Restorative Aide Expectations:

  • Providing restorative and rehabilitation care for residents to maintain or regain physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Restorative aides work in collaboration with registered nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists and will be able to serve in a maintenance capacity in the absence of the nurse or therapists.
  • Implement restorative nursing care to the residents per the resident's individualized, comprehensive care plan and to document planned care, and to report day-to-day changes.
  • Maintains a current file on each resident under treatment. Maintains historical records, resident files, and progress notes as required.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of resident MDS and care plans, including quarterly reviews, as they relate to restorative care.

Requirements:

  • Valid state license(s) - Drivers/ or State ID
  • Knowledge and understanding of dementia and dementia care
  • Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of three feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of three feet.
  • Computer skills
  • Strong healthcare background
  • Must be a self-starter able to work independently and efficiently
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination or exemption
