Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Manager or Manager of Global Strategic Sourcing IT to lead sourcing activities for information technology products and services. This role will support the procurement of hardware, software, telecommunications services, and professional services across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills who can balance competing priorities and deliver enterprise-wide value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and strategically source a portfolio of IT products and services in accordance with established procurement processes.
  • Develop and issue RFQs/RFIs/RFPs for technology-related goods and services; evaluate suppliers and analyze bids based on cost, quality, and performance.
  • Partner and collaborate with leadership teams and business units to leverage scale, streamline suppliers, and reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand needs and identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain analytics and reporting to track performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Oversee assigned projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain close relationships with senior management to understand strategic goals and business challenges.
  • Support business units with strategic sourcing plans and procurement needs.
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to anticipate business impacts and develop strategic responses.
  • Deliver measurable savings and drive value through cost management and optimization of procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required (preferred in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field).
  • CPM or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 7 10 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience with a Bachelor's degree, or
  • 5 10 years of experience with a Master's or other advanced degree.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing methodology and execution (e.g., 7-Step sourcing).
  • Proficiency with sourcing/procurement systems.
  • Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Experience in IT sourcing, including Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, or Connectivity.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build strategic supplier partnerships and align with corporate objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50.00/hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
