Job Description

Join Jack Link's as a Sr. Commercialization and Innovation Manager In this dynamic role, you'll define, develop, and deliver both near- and long-term innovation strategies that fuel profitable growth and strengthen brand equity across our portfolio of brands.

You'll will also lead co-branded and private label initiatives that deliver key channel specific and consumer specific solutions—driving new product launches from concept through commercialization. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role that blends strategic vision, analytical rigor, creativity, and strong business ownership.

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Strategy & Business Planning

  • Own and deliver strategic and tactical innovation plans that align with Jack Link's brand and business objectives.
  • Build multi-year innovation pipelines, identifying white space opportunities and future growth platforms.
  • Manage and deliver the brand, platform, and private label/co-brand P&Ls, ensuring profitable, scalable growth.
  • Partner with Sales to develop persuasive sell stories and secure strong trade support for innovation and platform initiatives.
  • Track business performance against key financial and strategic metrics, making data-driven recommendations to optimize results..

Product & Platform Innovation

  • Lead the end-to-end development of long-term and incremental innovation, from concept creation through product launch.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Consumer Insights, and external partners to transform white space ideas into viable commercial opportunities.
  • Build comprehensive commercialization plans including positioning, packaging, pricing, channel, and launch strategies to ensure market readiness and success.
  • Steward the innovation process in partnership with the Director of Innovation, ensuring consistent, efficient, and effective execution across the organization.
  • Maintain strong external relationships with agencies, co-branding partners, and suppliers to inspire and accelerate innovation.
  • Lead the development and commercialization of strategic customer product portfolio opportunities

Marketing Communications

  • Partner with the Brand Equity team to develop integrated communications plans that drive awareness and adoption of new products and platforms.
  • Support marketing execution across digital, social, PR, and in-store channels to ensure consistent brand voice and message alignment.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and Finance to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Coach and develop junior team members, fostering growth, accountability, and creative thinking.
  • Operate with flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment seizing opportunities and solving challenges with agility

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred.
  • Proven experience in innovation development, commercialization, or private label brand management.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act like a business owner, driving results with initiative, accountability, and passion.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into impactful actions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 (annual). Actual rates will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link's Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. Jack Link's provides a variety of benefits to eligible Team Members, including medical, dental and vision benefits, life and disability insurance, 401k participation, paid holidays, and paid time off.
