Medivis is a leader in augmented reality for surgery. Founded by surgeons, radiologists, and engineers, Medivis is using technological advancements in AR and AI computer vision to create a holographic future for surgery. We are looking to add a traveling Clinical Applications Specialist located near a major airport in the US to support our growing product portfolio.

  • Please note this is a high travel hybrid role that will require onsite support at multiple healthcare facilities around the country. You will be required to meet vaccine and other credentialing requirements to be able to successful complete the role. You may be traveling and staying and various locations for extended periods of time. ***

Responsibilities

  • Drive utilization of Medivis technologies across surgical departments at some of the leading institutions in the country
  • Travel upwards of 70% for trials, deployments and on-site research or surgical procedures
  • Support the sales process by becoming a subject matter expert in our spine portfolio
  • Support the use of our SurgicalAR and AnatomyX products in the planning, education, and surgical settings
  • Train surgeons, nurses, and other hospital staff on the use of our products
  • Coordinate with biomed/IT/radiology as needed to implement and support SurgicalAR
  • Aid in securing software and service agreement renewals
  • Support conferences and trade shows as needed

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years experience in clinically supporting surgical procedures utilizing surgical navigation or surgical robotics, preferably with focus on spinal procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Available to travel up to 70% or more, sometimes on short notice
  • Biomedical engineering or related degree in health sciences

Nice To Have

  • Experience in startup environments
  • Familiarity with augmented and virtual reality technologies for surgery
  • Background and interest in spine/cranial medical technologies
