Cork Wine Bar & Markets is a DC-based hospitality group with three locations dedicated to exceptional wine, thoughtful food, and genuine neighborhood hospitality. Our flagship wine bar and restaurant on 14th Street, boutique wine market in Spring Valley, and new wine bar + shop in Cleveland Park create warm, welcoming spaces to explore wine and enjoy great service. We are a passionate, guest-focused team committed to quality and community.

We are looking for strong bartending candidates to help open and staff our newest location in the Cleveland Park neighborhood in Washington, DC. Cork Cleveland Park is a hybrid wine bar and retail wine store - serving guests small bites to eat, wine and beer selections as well as offering retail bottles to purchase and consume off premise.

Openings are for both part to full time working evening and weekend hours. A successful candidates will have past experience in the hospitality community and a good familiarity with Old World (European) wines. She/he will also bring a strong service background with them and ideally have retail wine experience as these positions will be serving guests both wines by the glass and bottle as well as engaging with customers who are looking to buy retail wine bottles to take with them.

The ideal candidate will also have past management as responsibilities will include bar management duties including inventory.

We are looking for candidates with good interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and are team oriented. Most of all the right candidate will have the temperament to learn and pass knowledge onto other staff.
