Electrical Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on large-scale Senior Living/ILF/ALF, Healthcare, and Multifamily High-rise projects, including both new construction and renovations. The role involves managing assigned projects, ensuring the quality of all engineering efforts, and leading the engineering team to meet project goals, client expectations, and profitability targets. This position focuses on engineering leadership and project oversight rather than CADD production.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality results according to company design standards, practices, and policies.
- Oversee the complete performance of the project team, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
- Design electrical systems for power, low voltage, and lighting, including load calculations, system sizing, and code compliance.
- Prepare outlet, data, and telephone layouts and other electrical design elements.
- Actively participate in project meetings during design and construction phases to represent the company.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical infrastructure and provide solutions during design or construction.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide well-coordinated engineering solutions.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida – Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an AE environment focused on electrical design
- Proven experience designing electrical systems within budget and time constraints
- Experience in Commercial, Senior Living/ILF/ALF, Healthcare, and High-rise projects, including new construction and renovation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate across all project levels
- Commitment to delivering high-quality engineering services
Software Skills:
- Autodesk AutoCAD 2020
- Autodesk Revit 2020
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
