Certified Freelance Teacher Need for On Set Work

Certified freelance teacher needed to academically tutor school aged actors working on a film in Syracuse, NY. Teacher must be comfortable with teaching all elementary level school subjects (certification is only necessary in one grade level or subject area, and need not be specific to grades K-5.) Typically coursework is provided by the actor's regular school or parent.

Current project needs are for 10/27 and 10/28 for one 7th grade student, however, future work dates may be added.

Teacher Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid teacher certificate from one of the 50 states (substitute license excluded)
  • Must have full-day availability (Please note: Teaching times will vary on a daily basis, and could change from week to week, therefore complete daytime availability is essential)
  • Previous teaching and/or tutoring experience required
  • Must be able to clear both a federal and state background check
