Daydream MD Health & Wellness is looking to expand our clinical team with a licensed therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California. Remote and in-person availability preferred. We are specifically looking for a clinician to support the launching of our women's health and integrative medicine service lines. Must have experience working with women's phase of life concerns i.e. fertility concerns, post-partum, peri/menopause, retirement considerations, etc. Understanding HRT is preferred.

THERAPIST JOB DESCRIPTION

We specialize in alleviating depression, anxiety, chronic pain, addiction, phase-of-life, provider burnout, parenting, BIPOC, relationship, career, trauma-induced, military and first responder and LGBTQIA difficulties, providing our members with the tools to rediscover balance and well-being.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Client Care, Team Care, Leadership Care, Practice Care

Your performance reviews are evaluated by your fidelity to the job description and company values.

Client Care:

  • Maintain licensure to function in a role as clinician.
  • Maintain a full time caseload of 15-20 client sessions a week, virtually.
  • Offer exceptional therapeutic care; provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing care to clients.
  • Maintain documentation in a timely manner.
  • Progress notes are due within 24 hours of time of service.
  • Intake notes are due after the first visit. This is your "assessment."
  • Treatment plans are due after the first visit and before your next session. You may update and re-sign these at any time.
  • Treatment plans must be updated every 6 months and post a significant bio-psycho-social event.
  • Respond to and correct Billing Sheet requests within 1-2 business days of request.
  • Provide case management and referrals to community resources as needed.
  • Be on time for client sessions.
  • If running more than 1-2 minutes late, notify your clients immediately via text or email.
  • Reply to client communication within 1 business days.
  • Inform clients about scheduling availability and when taking time off.
  • Provide crisis care and resources as needed.
  • Uphold values of anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements and pursue other education and clinical opportunities to continue providing exceptional client care and customer service.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other clinicians, multidisciplinary team members, and administrative support staff to provide proper therapeutic support and resources to clients as needed.
  • Maintain legal and ethical duties per licensure as well as HIPAA compliance in all therapist-client interactions.
  • Seek clinical consultation in crisis or otherwise challenging situations.
  • Maintain appropriate lines of communication and boundaries with clients.
  • Other duties assigned.
  • Take care of yourself A balanced therapist is a healthy therapist.

Team Care:

  • Attend Office Hours, Supervision, Staff Meetings on a regular basis.
  • Be on time for staff meetings.
  • If running more than 5 minutes late, notify your colleague or meeting facilitator.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team as needed; be available to support others as needed.
  • Reply to email communication within 1-2 business days.
  • If you're not able to reply within 1-2 business days, please let your colleague(s) know the status of your reply.
  • Add resources to Team Shared Drive; direct others to resources if needed.
  • If desired, organize/or participate in social outings, in-house training, and other group events.
  • Communicate with team members or leadership should a concern arise.
  • Offer acknowledgement and gratitude when things go well.

Leadership Care:

  • Meet with your supervisor/manager once per month, or another frequency otherwise determined, to staff cases or discuss operational, clinical or otherwise issues.
  • Take questions to your supervisor/manager first, then to Lisa.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Leadership.
  • Verbalize complaints or concerns about your supervisor or the organization to Lisa and/or Arsalan.

Practice Care:

  • Independently problem-solve issues related to client care, operations, legal/ethical considerations, etc, before bringing them to Leadership.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and use practice supplied systems for anything client related or PHI related to company email, Advanced MD, Zoom, Google Drive and video conferencing, WhatsApp (or a password manager system of your choice).
  • Maintain security of your devices.
  • Maintain tidiness in company office spaces and maintain appropriate privacy in home offices.
Salary

$65 - $80 per hour
