The Sales Manager for Asian Channel will be responsible for achieving growth and sales targets for DSD (direct) for Asian Channels in West regions and Canada.

Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Achieve growth and sales targets for Asian Channels including DSD (direct) and some DIS (distribution) for assigned territory.
  • Develop and capitalize channel strategies, identify emerging markets and market shifts, customer/shopper/market intelligence to increase and maintain company's business.
  • Manage and promote strong and long-lasting customer relationships by partnership – understanding customer needs, checking sales progress, creating opportunities to introduce, education and promote existing and new products, proactively mitigate and solve complaints, and optimize best product practices.
  • Analyze sales data, P&L, and provide weekly/monthly sales report to Director.
  • Support customer and internal SCM division with initial order quantity, reorder point for import SKUs based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Work with cross functional depts. effectively to recommend promotions for import SKUs and maintain appropriate product inventory.
  • Check progress of each inbound carrier and report to sales team.
  • Work with internal sales admin regarding inventory, order clarification and issues; assist with customer/consumer claims and complaints as needed.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual in Korean required.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience as sales manager or rep, preferably in food industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
