American Hydroformers, Inc has been setting new standards in the hydroforming industry for tube hydroformed structures, parts, and components since 2003. As a family – owned company with 4 generations of manufacturing experience, the focus is to continue the tradition of excellence in engineering, production, and on – time fulfillment.

Its manufacturing facilities feature a convenient Midwest location that provides easy inbound and outbound freight lanes. Additionally, our 365,000 sq/ft factory employs the latest hydroforming presses as well as numerous metal fabrication, assembly, cutting and etching equipment. We are large enough to produce some of the biggest hydroformed parts and structures but are also positioned to provide cost effective small runs and prototyping as well as die testing.

We are seeking to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician for our location. Duties include overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate must be willing to adhere to our safety policies and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn in our environment.

Job duties:

  • Daily preventative maintenance as required
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues using schematics and other diagnostic tools.
  • Daily use of grinding tools, air guns, hammers and other tools required to perform your job (tools are provided)
  • Frequent use of gages to ensure quality parts
  • Assist Supervisors and other staff members/departments as needed
  • Follow all written procedures pertaining to Safety, Quality and Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age
  • Previous Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
  • Electrical and hydraulics experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance.
  • Welding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to lift to 45 lbs when needed.
