Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, program development, and software engineering, with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles managing medium to large-scale application development teams. Proven ability to manage multiple development teams and contribute to team and organizational objectives. Deep hands-on expertise with modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React) and backend Java technologies (Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices architecture). Strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, or related regulatory environments. Proven track record implementing and scaling Agile practices across large, distributed teams. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in talent development, performance management, and building high-performing teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership alike. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering business value. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps culture. Exposure to data security, encryption, and compliance standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, or SOC2. Experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus.
