Project Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the successful completion of construction projects by assisting in project planning, coordination, and execution. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning and development by reviewing project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
- Support the project manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during construction.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates, cost analyses, and value engineering initiatives.
- Participate in project meetings, including coordination meetings, progress meetings, and client presentations.
- Support project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation turnover.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project engineering or related role.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, Revit, CAD).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
