Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring that all aircraft are safe and compliant with industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various aircraft systems and components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs on airframe structures, power plants, and associated systems.
- Utilize power tools and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and ammeters for accurate assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications and improvements.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 standards throughout all maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance actions in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist in training junior mechanics on best practices and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in soldering techniques for electrical repairs.
- Experience with AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes.
- Strong understanding of airframe structures and systems.
- Familiarity with CATIA for 3D modeling and analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality management system requirements.
- Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Competence in using various power tools safely and efficiently.
